The Cultural Programmers will work with the Office of Intercultural Student Engagement (ISE) to initiate, organize, and coordinate cultural, social, educational, and artistic programming for the campus. They will serve as a resource in the planning of events, which emphasize cultural awareness and inclusion.
Cultural Programmers will have supervision from Administrative Coordinator and ISE Director. They will support ISE programming: scheduling, promoting, and advertising of events. Students have the opportunity to create programs around identities salient to them and for which they have an affinity (ex. LGBTQIA+, 1st Generation, Latinx, etc.). Additional opportunities to collaborate with non-ISE students and student clubs, as well as monitoring evening and weekend events are also included in this role. Students committed to campus diversity are encouraged to apply.
